- According to LFB records, the London Salvage Corps station in Shaftesbury Avenue was located at number 72 Shaftesbury Avenue. This station was transferred to the LFB in 1920 and became Station 72 Soho before being flattened by a bomb during the Blitz.
- A 'temporary' station was built on the site of 126 Shaftesbury Avenue and this was replaced by the current station which opened in 1983. |
